"My daughter and I had just decided that we wanted to buy a home in Los Angeles and we stopped by an Open House just to look and that was where we met Jeff. I knew immediately that he was the realtor to find us the home we were looking for. He lost no time trying to find out our requirements and was able to communicate choices to us the very next day. I was working really hard and didn't have a lot of time to look at houses but my daughter was willing and able to take the time, so he took her around and showed her some places. Then he prepared us for the process by having us meet with a financial advisor who gave us information about different loan options. That process helped me to understand what kind of loan I wanted and what might be required as well. Then the hard work began. We all gathered together one Saturday while a whole host of inspectors went over the house. I can tell you that as a result of those inspections I know a lot about my house that no one else could tell me. The previous owner was not available and so we had to rely on those inspections. It turned out that the day of the inspections was a day that it rained (can you imagine, In LA?) so we uncovered some problems we might not have known about. Jeff then went to the other realtor with a list of requests for changes. We didn't get everything we wanted but did get important repairs and after the whole process I was convinced that my home was solid.
The next phase in the process was the area where Jeff was the most helpful. As we negotiated with the buyers, there were many times that I wondered if the sale would actually take place, but whenever I was having doubts, I would call Jeff and he would either answer or call me right back, so I always felt that he was there for discussion, support and resolution.
Once we got close to closing he was ready with offers of handymen and plumbers and locksmith to make the transition much smoother. In short, If I every buy another house, I will call Jeff immediately and I know he will call me back!

Now that the dust has settled, figuratively speaking. I wanted to write and thank you for all your help in our home purchase. Please share this letter with any others that you wish, so some may gain insight from our experiences.
For the benefit of any one else that may read this, I have know Jeff Lovell as a friend, colleague and client for more than twenty years. His ethics, communication skills, diligence and attention to detail are amongst his strongest assets.
To recap, in early June 2008 I was browsing the internet and came across a listing that seemed to meet the requirements that I was looking for. I called you to arrange a viewing and Suzanne and I went to look a few days later. The Condo was just what we wanted. Even though you warned us that a ?short sale? property can be a bargain, it comes with many hurdles. We went ahead and submitted an offer, over the next few months we had to counter and counter until the Bank finally agreed to the ?short sale? amount. You kept us up to date and informed of any and all progress, or lack thereof. When we were ?coming down to the wire? with the mortgage broker (my choice) and she failed to perform, you magically salvaged the deal by recommending Dave DeSouza?s group. In one week they went from zero to closing and got us into our new home by the holidays.
Throughout the entire process I had complete faith and trust that my interests were being protected, supported, and covered by you and your complete team. Suzanne and I truly appreciate all that you have done for us in helping us to get into our new home.
